Olympic Peninsula

August 22, 2016

I've probably shared more than once on here about my adventurous parents and how blessed I feel to have been raised on road trips and camping. My childhood memories of traveling into the High Sierras and trekking across the country in our astro van fueled me with a longing to explore. I'm so grateful to have been raised this way and even more thankful to have married someone who shares (and even challenges) my same adventurous hunger...

An Ode to 2014

January 11, 2015

2014 was a year full of adventures, both near and far.

From Honeymooning in Quebec to Camping Big Sur, Driving all over the Pacific NorthWest, and Day Trips to Cambria.

I can't wait to see where this new year will bring us.

Here's to you 2014 – you were simply grand.

Ps. Get ready for muchos pictures of some of the most spectacular sites I've ever seen.

Places to Go in SLO: #4 Bishop's Peak

October 23, 2014

My fourth place to recommend for those seeking to explore San Luis is Bishop's Peak. This hike is not for the faint-hearted. I would rate it as an intermediate hike. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour to climb. A third of the trail is a steep, broad trail and the rest is a zig-zagged rocky path. I'm not an expert on hiking and I definitely haven't climbed anything I would call "difficult", but I will say that this hike definitely did a number on me...

SLO to PNW: Day 1, 2, & 3

September 23, 2014

Howdy from Grant's Pass, OR! It's day three of our journey north and we still have so much more to see. I greatly overestimated our access to cell phone reception on this trip, hence my lack of updates. I wish to go on and on, telling you about every single mile we've traveled, including intricate details and funny stories, but I'm not sure how much longer I have in this reception zone. Instead I will share some of my favorite pictures from the trip so far! (All taken from my iPhone – raw, unedited.)

Happy Vacationing!
