After six tries at making this pillow, I've come to two conclusions:

I should have started sewing earlier in life
Follow tutorials to a T before branching out with my own ideas

With those things in mind, I can move forward in my pursuit of the handmade with both humility and pride, for the pair are equally important when you are a hand-maker.

So, even though that entire six pack of Fruit of the Loom t-shirts has been completely obliterated by scissors, at least I ended up with one fun outcome. And it was a happy day to see my friend open this gift with excitement in her eyes.
