Haiterbach is a special place filled with many many wonderful people and we got to stay with the best of them, and their big pooch Balu! (beware many pictures of this dog to come...). We were even lucky enough to be there on the weekend of their annual Summer Fest. We were told that David and I were probably some of the few outsiders who had ever been to one of these events. Woot! Woot! It was so fun walking around and meeting all our friends' uncles, cousins, aunts, and grandpas. Did I mention it was a pretty small village? I love small towns and all their quirky traditions!
Here's to a great village that we hope to come back to soon!
