Get ready for way to many pictures of a far too beautiful place. The mountain towns of Switzerland were magnificent. We road a tram part way up and climbed a bit to get a better look. I was fascinated by the impeccable abilities of the residents to stack wood, small ones, big ones, round ones, square ones. For example, our hotel in Switzerland – with an incredible view of the Alps – was just a 4 hour drive from Stuttgart. On our first midnight walk in Stuttgart (apparently that is becoming a tradition of our stay here) we headed aimlessly in and out, and up and down, of dimly-lit streets seeking adventure. On this particular walk there wasn't too much to see, but I did notice a couple of stools in a big window and was overjoyed to turn the corner and find they belonged to a cute little cafe. It was decided that we'd mosey our way back in the morning, and boy are we glad that we did! There's nothing like accidentally stumbling into an absolutely wonderful cafe in an unknown place...
